An idea takes form

The Star published a wonderfully written article about the Davenport family’s recent visit to Cape San Blas: http://www.starfl.com/news/20180419/serenity-pay-it-forward-style.

Loved meeting this sweet family.

More about the Davenports:

Kruz and Paizlee Davenport, siblings in Muscle Shoals, AL, were born with a very rare, and fatal, genetic disease called Schimke Immuno-Osseous Dysplasia (SIOD). Their parents, Kyle and Jessica, have stepped into action, and made it their life’s mission to find a cure for all children with SIOD. Together, they are the Founder and Co-Founder of Kruz’n for a Kure Foundation, and with the love and support of a great community, they have sent more than $700,000 along to Stanford to support SIOD research. They desperately need our help to continue the research that could prolong the lives of their children, and the lives of others. There are scores of people waiting for someone just like us to come along; people who will appreciate our compassion, our encouragement, who will need our unique talents. Someone who will live a happier life merely because we took the time to share what we had to give.
